Bench Centres

Backed by a team of experts, we are offering a qualitative range of cast iron bench centres that are accurate and quick method for inspecting radial run out of camshafts, crankshafts and cylindrical shafts. Manufactured as per IS: 5980-1978, these cast iron bench centres are utilized in machine shops, tool rooms and standard rooms for checking various parameters such as concentricity , parallelism and true rotation of components. The bench centres manufactured at our works are made up of close grained cast iron and finished to higher degree of accuracy by hand scrapping.

Some of the salient features of our Bench centres are:

• The base of bench centres and its heads are artificially stress relieved as precaution against distortion
• One of the centre is spring loaded to ensure uniform pressure while holding and easy loading and unloading of work piece without disturbing the accuracy.
• Centres are made from high carbon steel hardened and ground finish, having morse taper MT-3 and are replaceable.
• Both heads are adjustable to the required positions, easy and quick setting of the required distance between the centres.
• The heavy duty bed is provided with two T-Slots, parallel to each other
• Our range of Bench centres are supplied with  computerised calibration certificate traceable to National Physical Laboratory (NPL, Govt of India) New Delhi.

Luthra vertical bench centre is ideal, accurate and quick method for inspecting radial run out of camshafts, crankshafts, cylindrical shafts. Gear teeth run out can also be inspected by using mandrel, arbour or directly to the centre. Luthra vertical bench centre is ideally suited in machine shops , tool rooms and standard rooms for checking various other parameters like  concentricity and true rotation of components in vertical position.

Some of the silent features of Vertical bench Centre are:

• Base of bench centre is made of close grained castings and finished to high degree of accuracy by hand scrapping.
• The base of bench centre , column and its head are artificially stress relieved as precaution against distortion.
• One of the centre  is spring loaded to ensure uniform pressure while holding work piece and unloading without disturbing the accuracy of centres.
• Centres are made from high carbon steel hardened and ground finish having morse taper (MT-3) and are replaceable.
• One head is adjustable to the required  positions for easy and quick setting of the required  distance between the centres and other centre is fix  mounted on base.
• The heavy duty dove tailed column is provided  with  rack and pinion arrangement along with counter weight for smooth movement of spring loaded head.

These mini bench centres are cast iron based and are widely used in industries manufacturing smaller CNC turned automobiles parts, watch spares and microscopic parts etc. where higher accuracies are required.

Granite mini bench centre is made of black granite base which is naturally seasoned and  provide better finish and accuracy. T-slot made of steel is fixed within granite base on which two cast iron heads are mounted, both the heads can be moved to the desired  positions depending upon the size of component to  be checked. One of the mini bench centre is spring loaded to ensure uniform pressure while holding work piece and easy loading and unloading without disturbing the accuracy of the centres.

Universal bench centres are used on calibrated surface plate for checking concentricity,Axis run out,Parallelism .Unique design of  universal bench centre allows to check accuracy both horizontaly and verticaly.

Centres for holding work are hardened and ground and are adjustable to any desired position as per sizes of the component. Each universal bench centre is supplied with computerised calibration certificate tracable to National Physical Laboratory(NPL,Govt.Of India) New Delhi.
